Science Teacher

An exciting opportunity to teach Science at an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school.

This is a full time opportunity starting immediately, which would involve teaching all three disciplines (Biology/Chemistry/Physics) and the successful candidate can expect to be joining a hard working and highly successful Science department.

• Full time Science Teacher role – Bury
• Initially fixed term contract for two terms

• Pay in line with MPS and UPS GBP24,373 - GBP40,490.

Our partner secondary school is based in the Radcliffe region of Bury and is currently seeking a dynamic Science teacher to deliver both KS3 and KS4 lessons. Experience of teaching a range of different learners including students with SEN and Pupil Premium students is highly desirable.

The school currently serves just over 700 pupils aged 11- 16 and is situated close to the M66/M60 motorway and is ideally located within walking distance of numerous public transport options.

The successful candidates should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to a range of learners
• Have the ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students
• Have strong subject knowledge of the new (1-9) Science curriculum
