A new role for a teacher looking to pursue their next post from September 2021.
- Science Teacher - Full time
- Starting September 2021 until April 2021 initially (maternity cover)
- Teaching a full Science timetable across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS
- Modern comprehensive secondary school with great facilities
- Located in Bury - accessible for drivers and those on public transport
- Post open to Science teachers of all levels (must hold QTS)
The successful Science teacher will join a well performing secondary school. The school achieved good results across the Science department in the last two academic years which they hope to continue going forward. As a result, the incoming Science teacher will be confident in delivering clear and inspiring Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) for all 3 sciences.
The incoming Science teacher will have strong classroom management and be able to adopt a flexible approach teaching in order to support pupils of all abilities. The Science teacher will be expected to plan and deliver lessons in line with the current national curriculum and with guidance from the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
