Are you an experienced Science Teacher?
Are you happy to work with pupils who display challenging behaviours and often have additional learning needs?
The School in question, is based in Blackburn and caters for KS 2 - 4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging Behaviours. The School are looking to appoint a hard working, empathetic, resilient and confident Science Teacher to teach all 3 sciences across KS2 - 4. Often the pupils in this School will display difficult behaviours and therefore, candidates must have strong classroom management skills and be willing to provide some pupils with 1:1 support both for academic and emotional guidance.
The School would ideally prefer a candidate from an SEN / PRU background, although, they are able to consider applications from mainstream teachers who are confident in their behaviour management skills. The School are looking for a full time Teacher and the role is to continue until Christmas 2020.
The role will be full time, School hours are 8.30am - 3pm Monday - Friday and candidates must be willing to work with pupils who are often struggling to engage with education.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
- Negotiable pay rates GBP95 - 135 per day
- Long term position available
- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties
