Science Teacher- Full Time- B37, Birmingham- April 2026 start
One of our fantastic partner secondary schools based in the B37 area of Birmingham are seeking to appoint an experienced science teacher on a full time basis after Easter.
The school itself is thriving, has fantastic facilities and teachers work a 9 day working fortnight, meaning you get 1 day off extra every fortnight!
They pride themselves on staff care and well being and staff have said it is a real joy to work there.
What are they looking for?
- Qualified science teacher with UK QTS
- Excellent experiences teaching science within UK secondary schools
- Proven track record and positive school based references
- Excellent subject knowledge and confident teaching all 3 sciences (Biology, Chemisty, Physics)
- A professional, reliable and experienced teacher of science who can enhance an already thriving science department
What are the expectations of this role?
- To plan a range of science lessons covering the national curriculum that suits individual needs within each class
- To regularly assess pupils progress through formative and summative assessments
- Provide insightful feedback to pupils to support their learning and development
- To collaborate with colleagues within the science department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
