Science Teacher – Secondary School (Ashton, Tameside)
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS) | Fixed-Term or Permanent Opportunity
An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Ashton, Tameside is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan and assess in line with national curriculum standards

Foster a love of learning and scientific enquiry in all students

Support pupils of varying abilities, ensuring inclusive learning for all

Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Science department and wider school
Ideal Candidate:
-
Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Strong subject knowledge in one or more Science specialisms
-
Effective classroom management and a proactive teaching approach
-
Positive, reflective, and committed to student progress

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
