We are seeking a well qualified Science teacher who has excellent subject knowledge and the ability to motivate students across all age groups and learning abilities. The successful teacher will take responsibility for writing structured and effective schemes of work, as well as planning varied lessons at KS4 and KS5. Behaviour from students will be managed appropriately in line with schools behaviour policy, which will ensure that students are fully engaged in their learning throughout lessons.
Our client school were recently graded 'Good' in their latest OFSTED inspection. This position will be on a full time basis from October, with the option to start earlier if suitable for the candidate. Whilst this position will begin to start on a temporary basis, the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to earn a permanent contract through an introduction by Teaching Personnel.
The role:
- Full time post teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science across a range of age groups and abilities
- October start date
- Competitive pay (£125-180 per day)
- Temporary introduction with the opportunity to earn permanent position
The successful Science Teacher must have:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues and learners
- Good or Outstanding teaching practice
- Excellent subject knowledge relevant to phase
- Ability to combine a strong classroom presence with outstanding teaching and learning impact
- Ability to teach general Science to KS3- 4 students
- Strong desire to play a significant role in the schools aim to provide first class teaching to all learners
