Full-time Science teacher role in Bury – ASAP start
Teaching Personnel are working alongside a secondary school in Bury who is looking for a full-time Science teacher for an immediate start.
Due to a member of staff going on maternity leave earlier than expected, our client school are in need of a dynamic and passionate Science teacher to join their department as soon as possible. Our client school has been recently refurbished with modern facilities and science laboratories.
- Full-time Science teacher role to start as soon as possible.
- Opportunity to work in a secondary school in Bury.
- Both newly qualified and experienced Science teachers are urged to apply.
- Working with a newly refurbished Science department alongside senior members of staff.
- Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Full planning and marking responsibilities.
In order to apply for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must have QTS and a subject specialism in Science.
- Must have experience teaching all three Sciences up to GCSE level.
Working as a Science teacher in our client secondary school will involve taking on full planning and marking responsibility alongside teaching a full timetable up to GCSE level. The selected applicant will also be expected to work alongside other members of the Science department in order to plan, prepare and deliver lessons that are suitable for pupils at varying levels of learning ability. The role will also involve monitoring and assessing pupils progress in order to take appropriate action where required to ensure all pupils have the correct support they require.
Our client school is located in Bury and is easily accessible via the M62 and A56 from surrounding areas including Prestwich, Whitefield and Bolton. The school is also accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
