SEN School Transport- Driver

~ Subject to an enhanced DBS and a clean valid driver’s licence ~

Location: Leyland

 

This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport children to and from school within designated routes.
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained.
  • Follow all safety and road regulations, with a focus on the safety and wellbeing of the children.
  • Provide a positive and supportive environment for children during the journey.
  • Assist with boarding and alighting from the vehicle as required.

 

Requirements:

  • A clean, valid UK driver’s licence.
  • A clean DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
  • Ability to drive a minibus or similar vehicle (training can be provided if necessary).
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, patient demeanour.
  • Previous experience with SEN children is advantageous, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
