Job description

School Cleaner – Full-Time (Flexible Hours) – Immediate Start
Location: Chorley (Multiple Sites Including Residential Setting)
Contract: Full-Time (Hours Negotiable)
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to work across three education sites and a residential setting in Chorley. This is a full-time role, and while full-day availability is preferred, working hours can be flexible to suit the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across classrooms, communal areas, offices, and residential spaces

  • Carry out routine and deep cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, and emptying bins

  • Ensure hygiene standards are met in line with health and safety requirements

  • Report any maintenance or health and safety concerns promptly

  • Travel between sites as required (all locations based in Chorley)

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience (preferably in a school, care, or residential setting)

  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude

  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites

  • An enhanced DBS check will be required (can be arranged through us if not already in place)
