Are you an organised and proactive School Administrator looking for flexible work across secondary schools in Wimbledon and the surrounding South West London areas?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of mainstream secondary schools who are seeking reliable and efficient administrators to provide last-minute, short-term, and longer-term cover, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
About the Role
-
Supporting the school office with general administrative duties
-
Managing reception duties, phone calls, emails, and visitor sign-ins
-
Supporting attendance, data entry, filing, and pupil records
-
Using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom (experience preferred)
-
Roles available across Wimbledon, Merton, Kingston, Sutton, and surrounding areas
-
Day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities
-
Ideal for candidates open to early-morning (7am) calls for same-day cover
-
Full-time and part-time flexibility available
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Previous experience in a school admin or office-based role (education setting preferred)
✔️ Strong organisational and communication skills
✔️ A professional, friendly approach when dealing with staff, pupils, and visitors
✔️ Flexibility and reliability, including availability for last-minute bookings
✔️ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced school environment
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
