Teaching Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for a Behaviour Support Worker in a Salford PRU for pupils aged 11-14. Pupils from this school usually have a diagnosis of Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs. Most have had a disrupted school life and fall below the expected learning levels for children of their age nationally so the school is actively seeking a Behavior Support to assist and nurture these pupils. To support you during your time at the school is the schools’ excellent team of mentors, a family liaison coordinator, a senior youth worker, form tutors and TA’s. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with

• A determined and caring personality

• A commitment to helping vulnerable young people

• The ability to stay calm in difficult situations.
