Our client school in Bournemouth are looking to appoint a Resistant Materials teacher to start in April 2018 up until July 2018.

This is a large, popular and well respected 11-18 school in the Bournemouth area on the sunny Dorset south coast. Behaviour of students at the school is good, and the school was judged to be good overall in its most recent OFSTED report. The school is seeking a good or outstanding teacher with a clear vision to shape the future of teaching and learning of Design and Technology, specifically Resistant Materials, in the school. You will be expected to teach across the age and ability range of the school and drive standards and results upwards in DT. You will be an innovative practitioner who can motivate students and achieve excellent results, be able to give clear direction to teaching and learning across the department, also willing to work as part of a team to ensure all students reach their full potential.


Bournemouth is a costal town in Dorset and is brimming with things to do. It is a fantastic playground of beaches and miles of unspoiled countryside to explore. Film-makers, poets and writers have all been captivated and had their imaginations charged by the outstanding beauty of Dorset's landscape and coastline. So, if you're after clear air, spectacular beaches and magnificent countryside with a vibrant events calendar and fantastic attractions then Dorset is the place for you.

Pay for this role would be between £575 and £700 per week depending on your qualifications and relevant experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
