Residential Support Worker Swanley SEN School Bromley Full time

An SEN school in Swanley, Kent require a residential support assistant to join them in the New Year, working late afternoon and evening hours.

The reason for this is because the school has a residential provision for up to 20 students during the working week, and they need a member of staff to supervise these students after they have finished their normal school day.

This school caters for students with various special educational needs including autism, challenging behaviour, moderate to severe learning difficulties and those with speech and language difficulties.

Your role:

  • Provide supervision for students as they transition from their normal school day to the residential provision
  • The role will equate to full time hours and you will work Monday - Friday
  • Engage with the students doing after school activities, sports, games, completing homework, cooking, reading and preparing for bed
