A popular and growing school in Lancashire’s Ribble Valley is looking to appoint an RE Teacher
The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified practitioner of Religious Education. They will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education. The role is to develop and implement a successful well sequenced and interleaved curriculum which enables all students to make at least expected progress and provides an enjoyable learning experience for all that goes beyond school life.
The successful candidate will be joining a thriving and growing school which has recently been judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in October 2019 and in September 2019 we welcomed 109 pupils for 93 places.

- 4 days a week Mon – Thurs.
- Maternity cover
- 2nd November 2020 start date.

The person appointed will have experience of working with young people in faith development and working within education, and will have experience of teaching up to and including GCSE level. They must have a passion for their subject and a desire to promote it across all areas of school. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
