Religious Education Teacher needed – Hounslow.
We are currently recruiting for a fantastic secondary school based in Hounslow. They have an outstanding reputation for academic achievement based on a consistent record of excellent examination results, and they are now looking for an experienced RE teacher who is passionate about supporting the students and the school in continuing these outstanding results.

Location: Hounslow
Start date: September 2023
Pay rate: £140-£180
Responsibilities:
- To undertake the assessment of students work in accordance with the school assessment.
- To contribute to the development and delivery of the RE curriculum at different levels.
- To monitor, support and report on the progress and development of individual students as required.
- To contribute to the planning activities of the curriculum area, including the development of independent learning materials where appropriate.
- To mark students work and homework.
The ideal candidate:
- Will be patient and understanding.
- Will be passionate about their religion, faith and values and enjoy teaching Religious Education as a subject.
- Will have up to date knowledge of the curriculum for RE.
- Commitment to inclusive learning and developing the potential of each individual student.
- Will have a dynamic and innovative approach to teaching.
Qualifications required:
- QTS
- PGCE
- Previous in school experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
