Part-Time Reception Teacher

Crook
Part-Time | Temporary/Permanent (depending on school needs)

We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Crook on a part-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner who can create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where children can thrive.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inspiring classroom environment
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
  • Plan engaging activities that encourage curiosity and independence
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience within EYFS or Reception
  • Has a nurturing and patient approach to teaching
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom organisation and communication skills
  • Works effectively as part of a team

This role would suit both experienced teachers and motivated Early Career Teachers with a passion for Early Years education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
