We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Key Stage 1 Teacher to join welcoming primary schools across County Durham on a long‑term, full‑time supply basis, starting this summer term.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed KS1 teacher who enjoys building strong classroom relationships and delivering engaging, high‑quality learning. For the right candidate, there is potential to progress into a permanent role.

The Role:

  • Full‑time, long‑term KS1 teaching position
  • Deliver creative, curriculum‑led lessons that support academic, social and emotional development
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Assess progress, adapt learning and support individual needs

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching Key Stage 1
  • Confident with the KS1 National Curriculum
  • Caring, adaptable and committed to pupil wellbeing
  • Open to working in different school settings across County Durham

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
