RE Teacher

Opportunity available to work within a large secondary school in Bolton known for its strong behaviour policies and consistently good results.

• Full-time Religious Education teacher.
• Required to start in January 2021 until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue further.
• Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school in Bolton.
• Teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE.
• Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604 per annum).

Both experienced and newly qualified Religious Education teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided. You must have experience teaching RE up to GCSE level previously and hold QTS.

The successful RE teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated Religious Education lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning. The successful teacher will also be taking on full planning and marking responsibilities.

Our client school is located in Bolton and can be accessed via the M61 from surrounding areas such as Salford and Bury. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas of Manchester including Salford, central Manchester and Bury.
