Role Overview
Teaching Personnel is seeking a fully qualified Religious Education Teacher (QTS required) to work within Secondary SEN schools in Wallasey. The successful candidate will deliver the full Religious Education curriculum across KS3 to KS5, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and adapted to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons across KS3–KS5.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support SEN learners when necessary.
- Ensure lessons are accessible, stimulating, and aligned with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with SEN specialists and support staff to implement effective learning strategies.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Education.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach the full RE curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Desirable
- Previous experience working with SEN students in a secondary setting.
- Ability to differentiate lessons for a range of learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
