Are you seeking a progressive role in the New Year?
If so, we are supporting a secondary school in the north of Nottingham with the recruitment of an RE teacher to start in the New Year.
- RE Teacher required on a full-time basis from January 2021
- Must hold QTS specialising in RE and have experience teaching at GCSE level
- Pay in line with new MPS and UPS scale
- Opportunity for a permanent post available for the appointed teacher.
This mixed secondary school is looking for a teacher of RE to join their Humanities team from January untill at least Easter. The reason for the need is currently unknown.
The school are offering temporary employment initially however the appointed teacher will have the opportunity to earn a permanent contract later in the year making this an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a permanent post. Permanent appointment would be performance and suitability dependent.
This a full-time position where the Religious Education teacher will be teaching KS3 and KS4 Religious Education. Applications are being encouraged from teachers of all experience levels including NQTs and more experienced teachers alike.
The secondary school recruiting for this role is slightly larger than other schools nationally. Located in the norht of Notingham, the school is just a short drive away from the M1 and is accessible from surrounding regions such as Sheffield and Derby.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
