Location: Croydon, South London

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Religious Education Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Croydon area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment that values creativity, diversity, and high-quality teaching.
The Role:

Deliver engaging and inspiring RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan and implement lessons in line with the national curriculum

Promote critical thinking, respect, and understanding of diverse faiths and cultures

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion and curiosity

Assess, track, and support student progress effectively

Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to wider school life
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
A passion for promoting cultural awareness and moral development

Commitment to supporting the school’s ethos and values

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
