Catholic School in Ilford is seeking a Catholic RE Teacher - Starting in September.

The Schools

A lovely catholic school in the Dagenham area is seeking a Catholic RE teacher to join their high achieving RE department. Teaching Personnel work with a large number of catholic schools across the Brentwood, Southwark and Westminster dioceses. All of which have a reputation for their fantastic behaviour and impressive exams results and this school is no exception! More details are as follows;

  • Rated "GOOD" by Ofsted. Last inspection in 2018.
  • All girls school, devoted to supporting the young women to achieve their full potential
  • Boasts an impressive behaviour policy to create an ideal teaching and learning environment.
  • Parking available onsite.

The Role and Requirements

The school is seeking a full time Catholic RE teacher to begin teaching from September. The school are looking for a candidate with a UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS), or an experienced RE teacher. The successful candidate will not just be a confident RE teacher but will ideally have experience working in a catholic school and be of catholic faith. This is an exciting position ideal for an RE teacher seeking a new position or to work in a school with fantastic behaviour. The requirements for this role are;

  • You must possess a child workforce DBS on the updated service or be prepared to apply for one. (£44)
  • You will ideally hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE).
  • A degree in RE or similar subject.
  • Have experience as a teacher of RE to classes of 30 at KS3 and KS4. Including supervising practical tasks.
  • Have a passion for education and teaching RE.
  • The School are seeking someone of catholic faith.
