Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of inclusive and well-regarded schools in Brent to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants at Level 1, 2, and 3. Whether you’re beginning your journey in education or have years of SEN experience, there’s a role suited to your skill level and passion for helping children with additional needs thrive.

This is a full-time role supporting pupils across EYFS, Primary, or Secondary, depending on your experience. You'll work one-to-one or in small groups to provide targeted support for students with autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH, or learning difficulties.

The Role:

  • Provide in-class support for pupils with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)

  • Adapt learning resources and assist with daily activities and routines

  • Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional regulation

About You:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special needs (school or care settings)

  • Relevant qualifications are desirable (e.g., CACHE Level 1–3, NCFE, SEND diploma, or equivalent)

  • Patience, empathy, and resilience are essential qualities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
