Science Teacher – Birmingham | May Start | Full-Time
Looking for your next Science teaching role this summer term?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham who are looking to appoint a qualified Science Teacher from May. This is a full-time position with the potential to continue beyond the initial placement.
You’ll be joining a supportive and established Science department, delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 and playing a key role in maintaining strong classroom standards and student progress.
The role:

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
-
Planning, delivering and marking lessons in line with the national curriculum
-
Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
-
Maintaining strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment
-
Working collaboratively with department staff and senior leadership
The school:

Well-led with a supportive SLT

Strong behaviour systems in place
-
Positive learning environment and good staff retention

Easily accessible location in Birmingham
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
-
Experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools
-
Strong behaviour management skills
-
A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

Passion for delivering engaging and effective lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
