Job description

Teaching Personnel, the UK’s trusted leader in education recruitment, is working with a diverse and inclusive secondary school in Brent to recruit a passionate and reflective RE Teacher. This full-time role involves teaching RE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to deliver A-Level content for suitable candidates.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons covering topics such as world religions, ethics, and philosophy

  • Encourage respectful debate, critical thinking, and personal reflection

  • Support students’ progress towards GCSE and A-Level exams, where applicable

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in RE, Philosophy, or Humanities

  • Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum and assessment requirements

  • Passionate about promoting tolerance, understanding, and critical enquiry

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
