Job description
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a vibrant and high-achieving secondary school in Brent to recruit a dynamic and passionate English Teacher. This is a full-time opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that inspire confidence, literacy, and a lifelong love of reading and writing.
You will teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to support A-Level depending on experience.

The Role:

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3–KS4

Teach a range of texts and topics including Shakespeare, modern drama, non-fiction, and poetry

Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature assessments

Track progress and provide clear, targeted feedback
About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with an English or Humanities specialism

Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for English and GCSE specifications

Enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to engaging every learner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
