Qualified PE Teacher 

Location: Walsall 

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experiecne) 

Start Date: Autumn Term 2025 


 

About the role: 

Here at Teaching Personnel, we are seeking an enthusiastic and professional qualified PE Teacher to work within our partner secondary schools. This role involves delivering PE to students across KS3 and KS4. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for physical education and the motivation to inspire and support young people in their learning.

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment that promotes participation and achievement.

  • Encourage students to develop skills, teamwork and a lifelong interest in physical activity.

  • Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies.

  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a productive classroom environment.

  • Organise, lead and support extracurricular sporting activities and school events.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school community.

  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote the welfare of all students.

Role Requirement: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). 

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physical Education.

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
