Teaching Personnel is working closely with a forward-thinking secondary school in Brent to recruit a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to empower students with essential life skills, creativity, and an understanding of nutrition, health, and food preparation.
This full-time role involves teaching Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to support GCSE coursework and practical assessments.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to KS3–KS4 students
-
Teach food preparation, hygiene, nutrition, and healthy eating
-
Support students with GCSE coursework, practical assessments, and food safety standards
-
Encourage creativity, teamwork, and independence in the kitchen
About You:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Food Technology or Design & Technology

Strong knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum and GCSE requirements
-
Confident delivering both theoretical and practical lessons safely

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
