Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Long-term or Permanent)
Salary: £150–£220 per day (dependent on experience, inclusive of holiday pay)

The Role

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)

Track student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and support pupils of all abilities

Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and collaboration with colleagues

Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages independent learning and critical thinking
About You
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or related field

Strong subject knowledge and passion for English education
-
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (including placements for ECTs)

Excellent behaviour management skills and a proactive teaching style

Commitment to high academic standards and inclusive learning

Willingness to undergo full safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
