Teaching Personnel are looking for a teacher to work in one of our Pupil Referral Units, teaching a class of approximately 6 students with social emotional mental health, causing them to have particularly challenging behaviour. These pupils have one to one support during their day and will attend your lessons.

The Pupil Referral Unit are looking for someone to join them, who is friendly, motivated and passionate about the pupils learning and be confident in teaching students with Social Emotional Mental Health, who have been either temporary or permanently excluded from a mainstream secondary school. You will be teaching key stage 4 students aged between 14 - 16, although these pupils are secondary aged they follow more of a basic primary curriculum, due to their previous level of absence.

You:

  • Fully Qualified Teacher
  • Previous experience of working with SEN
  • A Child Workforce DBS on the update service, we can help you through the process if you don't have this.
  • Confidence and enthusiasm to the pupils learning
  • A calm, kind and caring manor about you
