Fully Qualified psychology teacher needed from October half term. Experience delivering the curriculum to KS5 is essential.
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Welwyn Garden City who looking for a psychology teacher 3 days a week from the beginning of October. Whilst QTS is not essential (some form of teaching qualification is desired be that FE or level 3) knowledge of the curriculum to KS5 is required to fulfil this role.
Psychology enables students to explore and formulate a deeper understanding of the human mind, how it works and the effects on human behaviour.
The school provides a challenging, engaging and quality education which stretches every student to meet their full potential. This ethos is felt throughout the school and the recent changes in SLT have had a huge impact on the schools results and strategies.
Staff have high expectations of students and ensure that all students have access to quality teaching and learning in an environment built on mutual respect. All students are given the opportunity to excel in a wide range of academic and non-academic activities which help to develop life-long learners.
About the role;
- 3 days a week (days to be confirmed)
- Pay in line with main teacher pay scale
- Teaching will range across KS4 and KS5
- Planning and marking is essential
- Temp to perm contract available
