Job Summary

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with three Cardiff secondary schools, who are collectively seeking Psychology graduates to gain experience in a school setting. This could be a perfect opportunity before embarking on your final career path.

Three very popular secondary schools in Cardiff are looking to appoint an ambitious Psychology graduates to join their inclusion/SEN/ASC team as an SEN Teaching Assistant, working with fantastic mentors, supporting SEN and EBD children on a 1:1 basis with day-to-day learning and specific intervention strategies.

Graduate teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are extremely passionate about finding our candidates their perfect role and experience, ensuring the schools we work with have the best possible staff. This exciting role you will be an integral part of the schools SEN team supporting the senior leaders and other experienced SEN practitioners. You will support learners who have specific learning and behaviour plans, and you will help them achieve their full potential on a 1:1 basis.

Salary: £275 to £300.00 /week

Required education:

  • Bachelor's

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
