The role will be working a long side the primary schools SENCO in the specialist nurture unit. The primary school is based in the Radcliffe, Bury (M26) with the role starting in February 2020 and will carry on until the end of the academic year.

• Salary from GBP57 - GBP65 a day

The school has a high percentage of pupils with special educational needs throughout the school. Due to this, the Head Teacher is looking to utilise a psychology graduate’s theoretical knowledge of Special Educational Needs to raise attainment in the school. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting and will be looking to gain more experience putting their theoretical knowledge into practice.

A successful applicant should:

• Hold either an educational or psychology based degree
• Have previous experience working with young children
• Have a caring and understanding nature
• Have strong communication skills
