Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with a Psychology degree for one of our partner schools in the Central Manchester area. The role begins in October until the end of the academic year, this is an ideal role for a recent graduate looking for their first role in a school setting.
Key information:
- Full time Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant needed in Central Manchester
- Earn between £1500 - £1700 per month
- Post from October – July, there is the opportunity that this role could be made permanent, depending on performance
- Work with teachers with a wealth of experience, gaining valuable insights into the role
Our client prides itself on its exemplary SEN department, they are committed to providing an outstanding education experience to its pupils. In your new role you will be supporting students with additional requirements as well as behavioural issues, this will consist of classroom support as well as working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis. Our partner school also has a large number of students whose first language is not English, strong communication skills are key in this role to build a rapport with the students you work with in a diverse, multicultural school.
Other responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth classroom support, producing detailed resources specific to each subject
- Work as part of a wider SEN team with the collective aim to provide an enthralling learning experience
- Provide support to learners around the school site, manging the individual workloads of specific students
- Develop students’ ability across the subjects, providing continuous pastoral support and guidance at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
