About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychology Graduate to join a welcoming primary school in the CF24 area from June 2026. This full-time role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with additional learning needs, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for individuals considering careers in educational psychology, teaching, counselling, or mental health support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
• Support children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs (SEMH)
• Assist in implementing personalised support strategies and interventions
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Psychology (or related field)
• Strong interest in child development, behaviour, and mental health
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a school environment
• Previous experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable
