We're working with schools seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Psychology graduates to join their support teams as Learning Support Assistants. This role offers invaluable experience working directly with students who require additional academic, emotional, behavioural, or social support.
Whether you're considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health, Counselling, Teaching, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work, this role provides an excellent foundation.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Work with students on a one-to-one and small-group basis
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Help students develop confidence, resilience, and independence
- Encourage engagement and participation in lessons
- Support social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
