PRU Teacher

The schools cater for children who may have struggled to succeed in previous mainstream environments due to challenging behaviour, SEMH or additional complex needs.

All of our using schools are rated as Good or Outstanding in several areas including personal development, behaviour and welfare of the students

Multi-disciplinary teams and small class sizes with excellent additional support staff make it a desirable and rewarding place to teach*

As a successful candidate you must have :

• Ideally experience teaching in a SEMH provision or pupil referral unit.
• Outstanding behaviour management skills
• A confident personality with an open mind and the ability to adapt to new environments
• Strong proven behaviour and classroom management skills
• Experience with SEMH, SEN and challenging behaviours highly desirable but not essential
• Positive handling training desirable but not essential
• A DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
