Teaching Personnel are working alongside one of our Client SEN Provisions to find an experienced Cover Supervisor who is passionate about working with young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join their team. You will provide support to students with SEN in a classroom setting, ensuring they receive a high-quality education and an inclusive learning experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Covering lessons in the absence of teachers.
  • Supporting students with SEN in their learning and ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance.
  • Managing students' behaviour and enforcing school policies.
  • Providing feedback to teachers on students' progress.
  • Preparing and supervising learning activities.
  • Liaising with teaching staff and SENCOs to ensure that all students' needs are being met.
  • Building positive relationships with students to foster a positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have at least 1 year of experience working with students with SEN in a classroom setting.
  • Have a degree or equivalent qualification (Desirable)
  • will be a strong communicator and have great organisation skills.
  • Be positive and have a patient attitude.
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Possess a strong passion for education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
