Job description

At TP Tutors, we know that the Primary school years are essential for building the foundation of a child’s education. We’re looking for passionate Primary Tutors in Lincoln to help young learners develop key skills in English, Maths, and more—setting them up for long-term success.

Why Primary Development Matters

The early years of education are vital in shaping a child’s future. By supporting students in Primary school, you’ll help them build academic skills and confidence that will carry them through their entire educational journey. You’ll be a crucial part of their growth, helping them overcome challenges and discover their potential.

Location: Lincoln and surrounding areas
Pay: £25 – £30 per hour
Driving Licence: Preferred (for home or library-based sessions)

Your Role:

  • Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition in English, Maths, and core subjects.

  • Tailor lessons to each student’s unique needs, building both skills and confidence.

  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with families to ensure consistent academic progress.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for teaching and working with Primary-aged children.

  • Experience supporting Primary students with a strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.

  • Excellent communication skills and an engaging teaching style.

  • Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
