Job Title: Primary Tutor

Location: Leatherhead

Salary: £20-£25 per hour

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic educator with a passion for helping young learners succeed? We are currently seeking a Primary Tutor to join our team in Leatherhead and support students in their academic journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions for primary school students.
  • Develop tailored lesson plans to address the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
  • Reinforce fundamental concepts and provide additional support in subjects such as English, mathematics, and science.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to promote student confidence and engagement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Collaborate with parents and teachers to ensure a cohesive and effective support system for the student.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching primary school students.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, positive, and motivating approach to teaching.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.

Location:

The position is based in Leatherhead, and tutoring sessions may occur at the student's home or at a suitable learning facility.

Salary:

The hourly rate for this position is £20-£25, dependent on experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
