Job description

Primary Tutors Wanted – All Subjects – Join Our London Team!

Are you passionate about supporting young learners at the beginning of their educational journey? Do you want to make a positive impact on children’s confidence and progress? Whether you’re an experienced tutor or new to the role, we want to hear from you!

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Tutors across London to support students in all subjects at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We work with local authorities, schools, and families, providing high-quality tuition—including for those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or learning outside mainstream education.

About You:

  • Confident supporting primary students in any subject (KS1 and/or KS2)
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts in a clear, engaging way
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Reliable, organised, and committed to pupil progress
  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)

Desirable:

  • Experience tutoring or teaching (not essential—we welcome new tutors!)
  • Experience with different primary curricula and SATs preparation
  • Experience working with students outside mainstream settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
