Job description
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford (M3) is seeking to appoint four dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team on school contracts from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for passionate support staff who are committed to making a meaningful difference in children’s learning and development—particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Available Roles
We are recruiting for four positions across the school:
- EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant (1 post)
Supporting pupils within the Early Years setting, working closely with children with additional needs to support early development and school readiness. - Year 3 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants (2 posts)
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils in Year 3 with SEN, helping to implement tailored learning strategies and promote engagement and progress. - SEN Nurture Class Teaching Assistant (1 post)
Supporting a small group of pupils in a specialist nurture provision, focusing on social, emotional and behavioural development alongside academic learning.
The Ideal Candidates Will:
- Have experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
- Have experience supporting pupils with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech and language needs)
- Be patient, nurturing and able to build positive relationships
- Be proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrate a passion for supporting inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
