Primary Teaching Assistant
A mainstream Primary school are looking for a reliable teaching assistant to join their team in the new academic year. Their aim is to provide learning opportunities through a wide and rich curriculum. The pupils are supported by both teachers and teaching assistants in order to maintain a level of respectful attitude when it comes to learning in the classroom. Working on diversity and celebrating culture are two key aspects which allow the school to stand out.
The role:
- Working with a mixed ability class
- Assisting with the delivery of lessons
- Ensuring students are kept engaged and on task
- Strong behaviour management
- Maintaining good relationships with students, staff and parents
- Hours 08:15-15:30 Monday to Friday

Requirements:
- Have an enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Confident in planning and preparing
- Strong behaviour management
- Clear communication skills
- Be able to provide two relevant references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
