We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a well-established specialist school in Salisbury.

This is a flexible role, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities, ideally suited to someone committed to supporting children with special educational needs.

It caters for pupils aged 2 to 18, though this role will focus on the primary phase, supporting younger learners in building core academic, communication and life skills.

The Role You Will Play

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support children with a range of special educational needs, including autism and complex learning difficulties.

You will help deliver engaging learning activities, assist with emotional and behavioural support, and promote a positive classroom experience.

Whether you’re guiding a child through a literacy task or helping them develop social skills, your work will have a lasting impact on their development and confidence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
