Are you a Qualified Primary School Teacher residing in the Grantham area and seeking new opportunities? Whether you're in search of a full-time class placement or flexible work that accommodates your commitments, we have an exciting proposition for you!

Teaching Personnel has been a dedicated partner to Primary Schools since 1996, consistently providing skilled and talented staff for both short-term and permanent positions across Early Years (EYFS), KS1, and KS2. Our organization highly values our team of teachers and the expertise they contribute to children's development in the schools that rely on us. Operating with over 200 Primary Schools in this branch alone and an expanding list of schools turning to us for support with supply and permanent vacancies, we are confident in our ability to fulfill your needs.

We prioritize placing you in your preferred key stage or year group, working collaboratively to find opportunities aligned with your preferences at schools of your choice. Our approach empowers you to be in control of your work, offering placements only in areas you can easily access. With opportunities not only in Scarborough but also in surrounding areas, having your own transport is preferred. The standard working hours are from 8:30 to 3:30, Monday to Friday, providing flexibility based on your availability.

Ideally, we are looking for individuals available for a minimum of two days per week, with access to their own transport and a willingness to travel up to 30 minutes.

As a supply teacher, the majority of work is pre-booked, though there may be occasions when you could be called between 7 am and 9 am for same-day assignments. While most schools provide daily plans, having a bank of resources suitable for all year groups is essential. Working across various schools requires adherence to each school's policies, marking children's work, and providing comprehensive handover notes for the returning class teacher.

In recognition of your contribution, you will receive competitive weekly pay directly as a PAYE employee, without involvement of umbrella companies or additional employer NI payments beyond standard tax and NI deductions. For those aspiring for a permanent role, we actively seek opportunities that maximize your chances of securing a permanent position and building strong relationships with the primary schools you wish to work at.

If this opportunity resonates with you, get in touch by registering your details on the Teaching Personnel website or by clicking 'Apply Now' through this advert to submit your CV! Your path to fulfilling and flexible teaching experiences awaits.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
