Job description

About the role

-Primary Teachers required across Caerphilly County Borough Council

-Including work in area’s right from  Rhymney, Bargoed, Ystrad Mynach, Blackwood down into Bedwas, Caerphilly and more

-ASAP start and there is full and part time work available with 10 miles of your home postcode, you could be working as soon as next week pending a successful registration

-Short term day to day work available, as well as full time long term assignments

-Temp to perm roles also available where you go permanent with the school after 12 weeks of working for us

-Pay rate starts at £172.98 per day as per the Welsh framework

-Weekly pay every Friday, straight into your bank account including your holiday pay

About the schools

-Small / medium rural Primary schools available, as well as larger more town based schools, depending on what you prefer. We work to YOUR preferences

-Most schools have excellent transport links by bus / train and access to free parking

-You can choose where you teach within the schools – choose from Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2

-We also have a large need within Primary schools for Additional Learning Needs (ALN) specialists with plenty of them having Additional / Specialist Resource Bases (SRB’s)

About you

-You will need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to apply for this role

-Experience in ALN is preferred but not essential

-You will also need to be fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

-To be put forward for this role, you would need to undergo a 30-minute face to face registration with Teaching Personnel which would include reference and DBS checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
