Year 2 Primary Teacher – Exeter

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our team and inspire young learners in schools across the Exeter area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to bring creativity, care, and confidence to the classroom — helping pupils build strong foundations in reading, writing, and numeracy.

You’ll plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support every child’s learning journey, fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, you’ll be joining welcoming schools that value enthusiasm, commitment, and excellent teaching.

What You’ll Bring:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent primary teaching qualification

  • A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A nurturing, adaptable, and child-centred approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
