Year 1 Teacher – Exeter
Location: Exeter, Devon
Pay: £120–£150 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time / Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher looking to inspire young learners and make a real difference in their early education? Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in Exeter seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their team.
The Role:

Teach a lively and engaging Year 1 class, delivering the national curriculum in a creative and inclusive way.

Foster a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure positive learning outcomes.

Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 preferred).

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for primary education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
