Year 1 Teacher – Exeter
Location: Exeter, Devon
Pay: £120–£150 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time / Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026

Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher looking to inspire young learners and make a real difference in their early education? Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in Exeter seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their team.

The Role:

• Teach a lively and engaging Year 1 class, delivering the national curriculum in a creative and inclusive way.

• Foster a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure positive learning outcomes.

• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 preferred).

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for primary education.
