Teaching Personnel are working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools seeking passionate educators to provide Key Stage 1 cover and classroom support. Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced teacher, this role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a real difference in young learners’ lives.

Role Overview:

As a KS1 Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging and interactive lessons that inspire curiosity and build essential literacy and numeracy skills. You’ll support children in developing confidence and independence while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for KS1 pupils

  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere

  • Adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs

  • Work collaboratively with support staff and fellow teachers

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

What You’ll Need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Recent teaching experience in KS1

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A flexible, reliable, and nurturing approach

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
