We are working with a very supportive SLT team at one of our partner schools, in Norfolk, to appoint a Primary Teacher. As well as planning lessons and teaching, you will play a vital role in encouraging and supporting each pupil with their tailored education plan and future prospects.

This particular school caters for pupils between the ages of 5-16 years (KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4), who have Autism. Each child should be treat as an individual, which is why class sizes are much smaller at this Special Educational Needs School. Teaching up to 12 pupils at one time, you should be an excellent manager of behaviour. However, you will have additional support in the classroom (Learning Support Assistants).

We encourage all who are interested in this post, to apply. The role is open to Newly-Qualified Teachers, Fully-Qualified Teachers and Experienced Teachers without QTS. Please note, this position is not immediately permanent. However, you may be given the opportunity to gain a permanent contract with the school through an introductory period with Teaching Personnel.

  • Experience of teaching and/or working with children with EHCP’s
  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTLS, PTTLS)
  • Experience of teaching children with Autism( ASC), SEMH (EBD) or ADHD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
